Let’s get started!

First off  there are a couple basic things you are going to need to get started in internet marketing.

#1 you will need a domain name. Now I know what you might be thinking, you are just starting out and you do not know if this is really going to work and you do not want to spend any money. That is fine too, we will come back to that in a later post. For now I want to focus on the basics. So number one is a domain name.

#2 you will need a hosting account. You need a place to put your domain name so that you can add pages and people will be able to view them. No hosting means no visitors. There are tons of hosting solutions out there and it is very affordable. I have seen some places that offer hosting for about five bucks a month.

#3 you will need an auto responder. This is one of the most powerful tools and it is very important. You will need a way of contacting potential customers and keeping all your old customers close. An good auto responder will give you the ability to instantly contact a person who visits your site, it will keep their name and email address and it will allow you to send out notifications to your list with out risk of spamming them.
